Carpet Fitting
Pre Fitting
Before our fitter arrives you will need to make some preparations

Please move all furniture and remove any items that will be in the way, leaving the room clear and ready for your new carpet to be fitted.

If you have booked for us to assist with moving furniture, please clear any objects such as ornaments and contents from drawers and cupboards. Please remove sheets and bedding from beds. (Please note that special arrangement has to be made as part of your quote for this service. Please check your quote if unsure)
There will be extra charges applied if our fitter has to spend time completing additional work
On the Day
Things to be aware of so that your fitting goes as smoothly as possible.

You Will be allocated a time slot, please be aware that this is approximate and can change depending on jobs ahead of yours taking longer or delays in travel etc.

You or a representative will need to be at home during the fitting, in case the fitter comes across any unforeseen issues when he takes up your carpet or old flooring.

Due to the change of flooring (pile heights) you may find that your Doors will need modification. Our fitters are not equipped to do so, this is something you will need to arrange directly with a skilled person. We are happy to make recommendations.

Our fitter will leave left over off cuts. You can enquire with us about having the edges whipped to trasnform in to a rug.
